New in this model are he MicroPiezo® AMC print head, Variable sized dot technology, and Active Meniscus Control (AMC) technology combine to deliver unprecedented image quality, iron-clad reliability, and faster print speeds. While thermal primers use heat to spray droplets, MicroPiezo® print heads use electrical pulses that place smaller ink droplets onto a page. This increased precision eliminates uncontrolled ink spray that leads to non-photographic overspray or 'satellites' associated with thermal technology.
